Exotic Animals We See
We have experience caring for a wide variety of non-traditional pets:
- Small mammals — rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, chinchillas, rats, mice, ferrets
- Birds — parrots, cockatiels, parakeets, lovebirds, finches, and other companion birds
- Reptiles — bearded dragons, leopard geckos, ball pythons, tortoises, iguanas
- Amphibians — frogs, salamanders, axolotls
Wellness Exams for Exotic Pets
Exotic animals often hide signs of illness until a problem is advanced — routine wellness exams are especially important. We assess body condition, weight, teeth, skin, coat or feathers, and overall health, and tailor care recommendations to each species.
Husbandry Guidance
Proper housing, diet, temperature, humidity, and lighting are critical for exotic pet health. We provide species-specific husbandry guidance to help you create the ideal environment for your pet, and can troubleshoot issues like metabolic bone disease, poor shedding, or nutritional deficiencies.
Many exotic pet health problems are husbandry-related. A wellness visit is a great opportunity to make sure your setup is supporting your pet's long-term health.

Contact us if your exotic pet shows any of these signs:
- Decreased appetite or refusing food
- Lethargy or unusual behavior
- Difficulty breathing
- Abnormal droppings or discharge
