Our on-site lab means results in minutes rather than days for most routine tests:
- Complete blood count (CBC) — red and white blood cells, platelets
- Blood chemistry panels — kidney, liver, thyroid, blood sugar, and more
- Urinalysis — detects infections, kidney disease, diabetes, and other conditions
- Fecal testing — checks for intestinal parasites
- Heartworm, flea, tick, and Lyme disease testing
- Pre-anesthetic bloodwork before any procedure requiring anesthesia
Digital Radiology (X-rays)
Our digital X-ray system produces high-quality images with less radiation than traditional film. X-rays help us evaluate:
- Bone fractures and joint conditions (arthritis, hip dysplasia)
- Chest abnormalities — heart size, lung disease, fluid accumulation
- Abdominal organs — bladder stones, intestinal blockages, masses
- Dental roots during dental procedures
When Are Diagnostics Needed?
We may recommend testing when your pet is showing symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, weight loss, or changes in urination — or as part of a routine wellness exam to establish a baseline and catch early disease.
Many serious conditions show no outward signs early on. Routine bloodwork is one of the best ways to catch problems before they become harder to treat.
